Which Celebrities have the Most Expensive Homes?

Different people have different priorities in life – some of us try to advance in our careers, some focus on their family, and there are people who spend most of their time on certain hobbies or trying to find the perfect single biker dating website, for instance. Celebrities, as it would seem, mostly care about fame, money, and living in extravagant and immensely expensive villas and estates. With that in mind, let’s take a look at which homes that belong to famous people have the biggest price tags on them.

Tiger Woods – $60 Million

When your whole life revolves around a single thing, you’ll probably try to include that in almost every other aspect of your life. Such is the case with the legendary Tiger Woods, who plays golf, breathes golf, and lives golf.

Since Woods is the richest golf player ever to walk the earth, it’s understandable how he got to build a $60 million 5-building complex that spreads over a huge area. Apart from living in a small town of his own, Tiger also managed to create a whole 3.5-acre golf course in his backyard!

Well, isn’t that convenient! Also, let’s not forget that this famous golfer also has a large wine cellar, a cinema, a leisure area, a boathouse, a garage, a gigantic guesthouse, tennis courts, gym, running track, and a diving pool, all in the near vicinity of his bed.

Oprah Winfrey – $85 Million

Oprah Winfrey is best known for giving out stuff to people who need it the most, but by the looks of it, she’s not very shy when it comes to treating herself to a little something every now and then.

By ‘a little something’ we mean her $85 million home in Montecito, California, of course. The aptly named Queen of Talk lives in a 6-bedroom, 10-fireplace, 14-bathroom mansion which looks more like a castle than anything else if you ask us.

Furthermore, Oprah’s home also has a lake to house all her exotic fish, as well as her very own movie cinema. It’s not only doing freebies that got her this home though, as Winfrey has spent over 25 years as a show host and book writer.

Bill Gates – $147.5 Million

Without him, you probably wouldn’t be checking out this list in your Internet Explorer, which runs on your Windows, which was created by Microsoft. We all know what all of these things are, and we can thank only one guy for them – Bill Gates.

From a garage-dwelling geek to one of the richest people on the planet, Bill Gates has certainly left his imprint on the world. With that in mind, all that’s left is to check out his $147.5 million home in Medina, Washington, which covers over 66,000 square feet of land.

Reaping the rewards from pioneering the computer technology allowed Gates to create this immense residence which consists of so many rooms that we lost count! Let’s just say the guy has his very own, well-equipped library.

Aaron Spelling – $150 Million

Who would’ve thought that the most expensive celebrity mansion would be the one of a television producer? Nonetheless, that’s exactly the case here, as Aaron Spelling’s $150 million home takes the No. 1 spot on this list.

The 56,500 square-foot complex houses a total of four garages, an orchard, a tennis court, a swimming pool, and even a bowling alley! You won’t be so surprised when we tell you that Spelling’s home also has a skating rink, either.

Being behind titles like “Starsky & Hutch,” “Charmed,” Charlie’s Angels” and many more earned Aaron Spelling the status of one of the most successful TV producer ever, along with tons of money, obviously.
